The Niagara Parks Commission administers and maintains over 1,723 hectares (4,250 acres) of parkland along the Niagara River Corridor. These parklands include parks and picnic areas, historical and archaeological sites, golf courses, a marina, restaurants, gift shops, attractions, a horticulture school and kilometers of recreational trails and scenic drives. The following areas under the jurisdiction of The Niagara Parks Commission have been designated for wedding ceremonies.
The Wedding Arbour and Willow Pond at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. Please note: the Wedding Arbour should not be mistaken with the James N. Allen Pergola, $5 parking fee applies.
Oakes Garden Theatre, across from the Hornblower Plaza. Please note: there is no reserved parking at this location, paid parking if available on Niagara Parkway and Clifton Hill or surrounding parking lots/garages in the area, the Park remains open to public during ceremony times.
Mather Arch (near the Peace Bridge) in the Town of Fort Erie. Please note: parking is available at no fee, the Park remains open to public.
The Artist’s Garden located at Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse. Please note: parking fee applies (based/hour/vehicle), The Floral Showhouse and Garden’s remain open to public Times: 2 hour time period during operating hours.
Dufferin Islands ceremony site is located on one of the islands. Parking is available however limited. Park remains open to the public.
Rose Garden located at Queen Victoria Park, no reserved parking and the Park is open to the public.
Rambler’s Rest is the closest designated ceremony area to the Falls. There is no reserved parking. Open to the public.
Queenston Wedding Chapel in Queenston, Ontario beside the Laura Secord Homestead. Please note: complimentary parking available.
The Tropical Garden Foyer in the Niagara Parks’ Floral Showhouse. Please note: parking fee applies, based/hour/vehicle Times: 2 hour time period during operating hours, remains open to public.
Butterfly Conservatory located beside the Botanical Gardens. Please note: $5 parking fee applies Times: 2 hour time period after operating hours.
A wedding ceremony location is confirmed once we receive full payment and a signed General Release form. The ceremony site payment is non-refundable, according to the schedule below:

In order to be married in Canada, a wedding license must be obtained. There is an age requirement (18 years or older) and all applicants must be able to provide identification. The Niagara Region Telephone Directory has a list of the local churches in the area. Please telephone the minister at the church (denomination) of your choice directly to confirm costs and details of your wedding ceremony.
The Niagara Parks Commission owns and operates five restaurants on NPC property as well as off-site catering locations. We would be pleased to assist you with your reception or catering needs.
Wedding photos can be taken at any of our outdoor locations throughout the Park with no fee or permit required and is on a first come, first serve basis. Indoor wedding photography can be booked for the Niagara Parks’ Floral Showhouse. The rental fee for a 1 hour time period is $125 plus HST. Please be advised that the Floral Showhouse is still open to the public during that time. Please respect our beautiful grounds and the rights of others.
